Elmo Exhibit at Children's Museum

From now on, anyone who decides to come see us in Omaha has to go to the children's museum. It was amazing; especially since Elmo was there to teach kids about the human body. Addy was in Sesame Street heaven! Gma and Gpa had a great time too. Here are some pics of the top floor Sesame Street exhibit....

Zoo trip with Burdorf's and Ulrich's

This past weekend, we met my parents, Adam's parents and Jamie and Aaron's family for a wonderful weekend in Omaha. We had such a great time seeing everyone. It makes us even more excited to get into a house soon so we have more room. These are pictures from the zoo which we did on Saturday. Since we have posted pics of the exhibits before, I thought I would post other pics taken at the zoo. It was as busy as it has been; they must do great business! Yet, we always have a great time regardless of the craziness!

Potty Update

Addy has been doing great on the potty. Each time we change her diaper, we sit on the potty and we tinkle a bit:) The good news is is that she loves making progress. She has to give you a hug, while still on the potty, and then she can move on and flush her potty. We are getting closer to the doo too. Each time she doos, she tells me now and if we are too late, she will come lay down in front of me wanting me to change her. What a big girl! The Elmo potty time helps (thanks von banks) and the bear in the big blue house helps too (thanks houghs).

Please...oh please pass physical!

Pooped in Potty!!!!!

I caught Addy in the act of pooing this morning, and we quickly moved to the potty! She actually dooed in the potty today!!!!!!! Oh my goodness....I, of course, cried through the whole thing! She probably thought, "I thought this is a good thing mommy?" Just thought I would give a potty update! What a big girl! She is running around diaperless right now with a dum dum sucker! YEAH!

Von Bank's Turn....

Jack and Jen and their girlies made a trip to Omaha this past weekend and had a short summer vacation before school starts in the fall. Let me just say that Addy had a great time with the girls would be an understatement! She often walked from exhibit to exhibit at the zoo hand in hand with the girls; and Jack and Jen. It is crazy when there is family down, she always wants everyone else but mommy and daddy to hold hands and carry her. She must be bored with us? Anyway, Friday we hit Applebee's for lunch before coming back to our pool to swim before supper. Saturday, we braved the heat and hit the zoo until it got so busy we couldn't even enjoy ourselves anymore. After the zoo, we headed to Village Pointe to meet Josie at Scooter's for a quick coffee break before going back to their hotel for a swim. We stayed in Saturday night with some pizzas and watched Marley & Me.....or tried. Addy wasn't exactly quiet during the movie. We got up and met for pancakes and hit Target for school supplies before they hit the road. We had a wonderful weekend......thanks guys for making our weekend exciting! Enjoy our pics...

Houghbunch travels to Omaha

The houghbunch came to see us this past weekend and it was a blast! Addy was a trooper and kept up with the kids as much as she could. On Friday night when they got in, they came to our home and played for a bit. Saturday, we headed to The Amazing Pizza Factory, which is bigger and better than Chuck E. Cheese! They had a blast playing black light mini golf, bumper cars, going on a few rides and Addy and Reese danced on Dance Dance Revolution. We then headed to our pool for a swim and then to the mall to look around for a bit. We then headed to PF Changs for some yummies and then to retire for the night. Sunday, we met them at the zoo and spent a warm day at the busy zoo. It reminded us of Christmas shopping.....it hasn't been that busy yet this year. It was crazy! But, it was very enjoyable. The Hough's headed home and Addy has still been asking to go find Chase and Josie.....it is hard to explain to her why we can't. We had a blast and look forward to spending more weekends with family.
