Our New Nanny....Nina!

I am so excited! If I can't be at home with my girls, I want someone else to be....but in Omaha, Ne you just can't trust anyone with your little bundles of joy. So my cousin's girlfriend attends school here in Omaha and was looking for a part time job! I no longer have to take them to daycare. She has experience working with daycare, etc and Addy has met her a couple times over the holidays last season. So she came last night to visit the girls and get everything set up to start. She watched the girls today and the girls just loved her! It was nice and easy to leave knowing my girlies were at their own home with someone we trust! What a delight! Nina even got Addy to nap, which we have be struggling with lately. She's perfect!!!!!! Thank you for everything Nina!

Aubs and her blankie....

Our beautiful little one already has an addiction to her blankie. Everytime she cried yesterday, I would give her her blankie and she would snuggle it just like this picture and I wouldn't hear from her. An addiction? Already? Thanks gma for the blankie....she loves it!

Gma and Gpa Burdorf Visit

Gpa Frank and Gma Linda decided to travel to Omaha for the weekend. We have been trying to get to Sioux City to see them, but Adam has had only 2 weekends off all summer! Wow.....anyway we had a blast with gma and gpa!

Addy was flashing us her big blues after breakfast!

We had to take a trip to Target while they were here. Addy starts gymnastics in September, so mommy got her a new leotard. Addy's only specifics were that it was pink with a skirt. Here is what we came up with!

I think she already looks like a gymnast....I can't wait!

This pic sums up our weekend. It was packed with a trip to the park, flying a Brobee kite (thanks for the gift) McDonald's play place, Target and a lot of fun, quality time at our place. Lots of SkipBo, blowing curlers across the table (Adam still says he won), mass and great home cooked meals! After lunch on Sunday, Addy crashed on her floor and slept for hours! She loves visitors and plays hard the whole time! Thanks for the weekend and see you soon:)
