Addy and Aubrey (not our Aubrey.....)

On Saturday, we got together with a couple we know from Adam's residency. We invited them over to our place to hang out and meet their new baby, Aubrey. It was fun explaining to Addy that this isn't the Aubrey we have been talking about or will be living with us, but she got it. She LOVED Aubrey....she cracked up everytime Aubrey made a noise or looked at Addy. Addy helped with diapers, feedings and entertainment. It was great to see her around Aubrey and not treat her like our cat.....(picking up by the neck, squeezing her to death, swating at her, etc.) I think she will be a great big sister and is looking forward to the next 5 weeks!

And Addy wanted to keep taking pictures with Aubrey all night. In fact, this morning when we were doing her hair she asked if we were going to see baby Aubrey again today....it was adorable!

Nursery.....check!

Finally, Baby Aubrey has somewhere to come home to and sleep now. We got the nursery put together this past weekend. It is crazy seeing baby furniture again! Addy has actually been very helpful and is anxiously awaiting Aubrey's arrival. It is weird to think the same bedding, etc. was used by my big girl. It was really crazy folding sleepers and washing up clothing she used to wear too. I have to admit, I shed a couple tears; but I have been so darn emotional lately. Now, we just hurry up and wait:)

Nice Weather

Believe it or not, we all got to escape together to the park a couple weekends ago and I just haven't had time to post the pics. It is great when we get to see daddy, let alone take him to our "hot spots" to play!

She's already got a natural "swing".....and loves to hang from things. She may be my future gymnast?
