New Potty Update

Addy, after our short regression with tummy flu, is now back in pull-ups! Today, our first day back to our normal routine, kept her pull-up dry ALL DAY! Even through naptime! Hopefully tomorrow at daycare, we can keep up with it. What a big girl!

28 week appt.....check!

I am happy to announce that our week 28 appointment was a success! Things are going well and Baby Burdorf "A" is doing well. In fact, she moved all over the place today and it was tough for Dr. Bishop to keep her still for a heart rate. I did have to get a blood draw and shot today for my glucose tolerance and rhogam shot. All of this, of course, with daddy being gone and just Addy and I. She didn't like the nurse continuing to stick needles into mommy, but we survived. Adam is in his cardiology rotation right now, which is what he loves to do, but we haven't seen much of him.
Baby Burdorf "A" has been moving all over the place, and this is probably my favorite part about pregnancy; unless it is all night which was the case this weekend. I had fajitas, and I think she did the mexican hat dance all night long! When Addy was asked today if she was ready for her baby sister to come out, she said "not yet doctor....not yet." It was pretty cute.....the doctor looked at me with a look like what are you going to do to change this, and I told her she has been asking me everyday when "A" will come out. And I keep telling her, not yet...she needs to cook a little longer so I am sure she got that from me. I am having a hard time believing that in less than 12 weeks, we will have a new baby again. I am catching up on my newborn books just to refresh feeding, sleeping, etc. We are super excited now and can't believe we start going to the OB every 2 weeks now. It will be less than 79 days, but who is counting?

My little house cleaner

Friday, on mommy/Addy day, we cleaned house since she got up about 6:15 am.....daddy went in to kiss her goodbye for the day, and she rolled over and said she wanted to go sleep with mommy. Mommy and Addy have been struggling with colds so she hadn't been feeling well. Daddy brought her in with me and she wanted to get up. I have never had her bathed and dressed before 7:30am ever. These pics are after mommy swept the kitchen. Addy thought she would get everything mommy missed. I just had to get pics of her outfit. Mommy never cleans the house in clothes like that! She must get that from daddy:)

Potty Update:)

Twice this week, Addy has come up to daddy and I and mentioned she needed to go potty! Of course, we went along with it, and sure enough she pee peed in her potty! Yeah! I know it is little steps, but she hasn't ever told us she needed to go; we just talk her into sitting on her potty.
We were wasting time at the red store today, and she noticed that there were Dora underware and Yo Gabba Gabba underware too. So we had a talk about using the potty more and we can buy her some. I am hoping that this continues.....what a big girl!

Addy woke up yesterday and just had to wear a dress to daycare...so she picked out her ballerina dress. She looked so darn grown up, and me being super hormonal right now, cried all day! I can't believe my baby is so grown up. Daycare said she didn't stop spinning and showing her friends how to spin all day. She usually hates tights, but didn't even fuss putting them on as long as she got to wear a dress. Love her to pieces!

Happy Valentine's Day from Addy

As you can tell from my un-made bed in the background, that Addy couldn't wait to get into her "heart dress" from the red store on Valentine's Day. Daddy got the best gift in the world coming home from an overnight to this:) Her favorite part about Valentine's Day was daddy bringing her home a red rose! She smells it everyday.....she also got to distribute her valentines to her daycare class too...what a big girl. Oh, and we have to wear her "princess" sparkle shoes everyday as well. It's a good thing she has a lot of pink in her closet!

So since Addy has been doing better with the potty, and daddy and I are both home today, we thought we would give it a shot. She has had her big girl panties on since 11AM and hasn't made any messes! We are sitting on the potty every 30 mins and she has had no objections. On top of all of that, we have to wear around her new butterfly shoes that gma bought for her yesterday. She is so proud of her panties that she won't even put pants on top of her panties. So, for now, it is just big girl panties and gma's shoes. It makes for a cute, grown up girl.
